Welcome Dr Isabella Slade

Isabella is our newest Intern to commence at Angaston Medical Centre. She has previously lived in the Barossa as a student and loved it so much she had to come back! Isabella is from a remote sheep station in the Flinders Ranges and has always loved living in regional/rural towns. She has a special interest in preventative health, mental health, rural and remote medicine and Golden Retrievers.

Interns for 2022

We will have a rotation of interns throughout the year. Internships are a transitional year from medical students to medical practitioners, it allows the interns an opportunity to build on their skills under the supervision of a GP.

Dr Julie Huynh is our first intern for 2022. Her professional interests include paediatrics, women’s and sexual health and public health. Dr Julie will be with us for 10 weeks as she completes her internship
