Well Baby Clinics

AMC Nurse Practitioner Catherine Keil is starting a Well Baby Clinic (WBC) from October 2022. Well Baby Clinics deal with the total well-being of children and include developmental health checks and immunisations. Parents have the option to book into the WBC at their child’s 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 4-year check. GP’s are still available, if preferred, with the 6-week check still being undertaken by the Doctor. Appointments are available on Thursday mornings at our Health on Washington site. Please phone our friendly reception team to book your appointment.

Parkrun Practice

We are a parkrun practice and encourage our staff, patients and the community to get involved with the local parkrun event held every Saturday morning at 8am from the Coulthard Reserve in Nuriootpa. This is a free event, all you need to do is register via the link below. You can walk, jog, run or volunteer and is a great social event for the community.

Interns for 2022

We will have a rotation of interns throughout the year. Internships are a transitional year from medical students to medical practitioners, it allows the interns an opportunity to build on their skills under the supervision of a GP.

Dr Julie Huynh is our first intern for 2022. Her professional interests include paediatrics, women’s and sexual health and public health. Dr Julie will be with us for 10 weeks as she completes her internship
