Join us as we welcome our new intern, Dr Marina Girgis. Marina will be a part of our team for the next 10 weeks whilst on her placement here at AMC.
“I am very excited to be part of AMC for the next couple of months. I grew up in Wallaroo and the Adelaide Hills and consider myself a country girl at heart. I studied at the University of Adelaide, graduating at the end of last year.
Having spent most of my medical training in metropolitan hospitals, I am eager to gain experience in a rural setting and further develop my procedural skills. While I have broad interests—particularly in general medicine and paediatrics—I am keeping my options open as I continue to explore different areas of medicine.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, and baking.”
