VOCATIONALLY REGISTERED GENERAL PRACTITIONER
Angaston Medical Centre (AMC) looks to welcome a Vocationally Registered GP to join our progressive and dynamic doctor-owned practice in the heart of the beautiful, world-renowned Barossa wine and food region.
AMC has provided care for our community for over 80 years and is fully AGPAL accredited. We offer General Practice and Allied Health services with 15 Doctors, 2 Physiotherapists, a Dietitian and Travel Health Nurse Practitioner. Angaston Medical Centre is also proud to facilitate the Angaston General Practice Respiratory Clinic (GPRC).
AMC has two practices in Angaston – Murray Street and Health On Washington. Both practices provide Pathology collection services. Our Murray Street site has a focus on General Practice whilst Health on Washington is a multidisciplinary health centre providing General Practice, Allied Health, and specialist services. Health on Washington also hosts the Angaston GPRC.
The established and growing patient base and mixed billing offers excellent remuneration for its medical practitioners along with flexible working arrangements. Our doctors are well supported by a team of nursing and administration staff in a community-focused and collaborative culture, making AMC an employer of choice.
The practice has a strong and ongoing commitment to medical education. Presently we employ 2 Registrars, 2 International Medical Graduates and host 3 medical students from Flinders and Adelaide Universities. Many of our previous registrars and students have chosen to continue their career in medicine at AMC.
The doctors at AMC supply medical services to nearby Angaston Hospital which has 25 acute medical beds, a 24-hour emergency department, onsite radiology and an operating theatre. A wide variety of visiting specialists support the local community including cardiologists, a gynaecologist, ENT surgeons, general surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, a urologist, a plastic surgeon, gastroenterologists and a general physician. An applicant with anaesthetic skills would be looked upon favourably.

General Practice Registered Nurse
Part-time negotiable
minimum of 3 days per week
The Angaston Medical Centre is seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse who exemplifies our values of service excellence, cohesive teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Skills:
– Demonstrated experience in nursing and chronic disease management
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team and show initiative
– Excellent time management skills
– Proficiency in computer software and systems
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Professional, caring, and friendly attitude
Responsibilities:
– Provide comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to patients at Angaston Medical Centre
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals within the medical centre
– Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
– Educate patients on managing their chronic conditions
Qualifications:
-Fully qualified Registered Nurse with evidence of current registration
